Hello World! Who is ready for adventure?

We are a family of four adventuring across the United States! This blog will be mainly about all of our travels; where we go, what we did, places to eat, travel hacks, etc. We are so happy you’ve found us and we hope you stick around to see all the fun things we have coming up! We may even back track and blog about some of the trips we’ve taken over the past several years!

A little about us!

Our family consists of myself (Kelli), my husband (Jake), and our two little boys, Elijah and Luke. Our first big trip together was our honeymoon to Jamaica, almost 6 years ago. We welcomed our first son (Elijah) to the family in 2020 and took him on his first trip at 3 weeks old! It was just a short road trip to get out of the house and it was perfect timing because Covid shut everything down just after that! We welcomed our second son (Luke) to the family in 2022 and his first trip was to the beach at 2 weeks old! We’ve had so much fun planning trips and both boys are amazing travelers now.

Adventure Goals

Our goal is to travel to all of the states in the US and to all of the National Parks. So far our adventuring across the United States has taken us to 19 states and a handful of National Parks. Still so much to see!

I’ll be honest that my idea of a vacation is lying on a beach somewhere, while Jake is more of an adventurer. We compromise by doing both! We try to take an adventurous trip at least once a year while also going to the beach once. Since getting married, I have come to enjoy each of the adventurous trips Jake has planned. In fact, one of my favorite places in the US is now Zion National Park! We just don’t have mountains like that on the east coast!
